PREVENCION Y TRATAMIENTO DEL ACNÉ CON ALIMENTOS Y COSMECÉUTICA RECOMENDADA

PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF ACNE WITH FOOD AND RECOMMENDED COSMECEUTIC

Acne is a skin pathology in which persistent pimples appear. It usually appears in adolescence and causes emotional distress as well as scars.

It is very important to create care routines from these ages, good skin cleansing and the proper use of cosmetics.

The excessive production of fat, the obstruction of hair follicles, with this fat and dead skin cells, bacteria and excess hormonal activity (androgens) are the causes of this disease that, together with stress and anguish, help to activate the outbreaks and can generate low self-esteem in those who suffer from it.

There are different degrees of acne. When we get cystic acne, it is recommended to take medications prescribed by the dermatologist.

Acne usually appears on the face, forehead, chest, upper back, and shoulders, that is, in the areas where there are the greatest number of sebaceous glands.

Until recently, it was believed that a bacteria caused acne, previously called Propionibacterium acnes, now called Cutibacterium acnes, but it is known that we have more bacteria and viruses on our skin than our own cells, and that many people who do not have acne has this bacteria on the skin, in addition to factors such as genetics, lifestyle is the key to preventing and treating it along with diet.

Foods with saturated fats should be avoided, which will generate excess sebum that clogs the pores. If the acne bacteria is trapped inside the pores, it reproduces, causing the skin to swell and redden, causing pimples to appear.

It is important to tell you that foods with a high glycemic index increase the secretion of the sebaceous glands...

Then reduce white bread, rolls, cakes, potatoes and pasta...

The diet should be rich in foods with vitamin A, as it helps reduce sebum secretion. I recommend you eat often: mango, carrot, egg yolk, spinach, sweet potatoes...

If you already have acne, you should incorporate foods with polyunsaturated fats, they reduce inflammation, you should eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and other dried fruits, flax seeds, seaweed, seafood and fish.

On a cosmetic level, I recommend some key routines:

  1. Cleaning with mild oil-free soaps
  2. Day: in the case of oily skin, a hydrating toner or light emulsion with an external aqueous phase can be a solution like Onederful with Niacinamide.

In case of acne, you need to see a dermatologist to assess whether medication should be given.

Personalized diagnosis is key to see what stage the acne is in.

  1. Night: cleaning with the specific soap and the Glicolpeel Dtox solution with active ingredients such as glycolic acid, lactic acid,... that prevent clogging and clogging of pores due to pollution, makeup...
  2. Retinol is also recommended in the case of oily skin with open pores and to reduce marks caused by acne. Antiox Revital Premium is ideal, in these cases and when oily skin coexists with wrinkles and spots.

If the acne is not severe, I recommend medications such as erythromycin, benzoyl peroxide, which you can find at the pharmacy.
